At National Interop, we believe that Mobile Command / Communication Vehicles (MCCVs) should emphasize functionality from the user’s point of view.
Even the best technology is useless if not easily accessible, obvious to control, and documented in Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
While we have strong opinions about usability, and even
specific features and vendors of equipment for a MCCV (based on our years of experience), we approach every project with a fresh perspective – yours.

We want to know what the primary (and secondary) mission is for the MCCV, who will use it, and in what geography. We’ll incorporate those requirements with a design philosophy we’ve cultivated from operating MCCVs at the scenes of large incidents for almost two decades. The result is a design that is truly usable, fits your budget, and can be expanded and upgraded for years to come. The design is captured in a detailed specification that covers every aspect of your new mobile asset.
We generally do not actually manufacture vehicles ourselves – but work with trusted partners that have manufactured emergency vehicles for years, and then collaborate with them to deliver the best combination of careful, user-based design and experienced, reliable manufacturing.
Also know that we are as enthusiastic about remodeling and upgrading your existing MCCV as we are in helping you design a new MCCV from the ground up – either way, you’ll get a truly usable design.
