Adding Satellite Internet to a MCCV

Access to Internet, private networks and simultaneous VoIP and RoIP

Adding Satellite Internet to a Mobile Command/Communication Vehicle (MCCV) vehicle allows First Responders access to the Internet, email, voice, data, video and private networks for improved communications, operating efficiency and redundancy. Using Satellite Internet enables the MCCV to operate independently and connect to the commands main network, giving personnel in the vehicles access to files and records instantaneously — vital in an emergency scene. Accessing software applications from fixed or remote EOC/911 Dispatch facilities supporting the MCCV remotely and the integration of Voice-over-IP (VoIP) and Radio-over-IP (RoIP) are also possible for improved interoperability.

Access to video.  Improved coordination efforts.
Our Satellite Internet solutions enable video capability for the MCCV, allowing commanders to gain situational awareness without even leaving their seats. Staff in the MCCV also have the option of using video conferencing to communicate with headquarters, remote command centers and personnel in the field. The video is sent via the Internet over the satellite link to the remote sites, significantly increasing coordination efforts with a central operations center.

Ease-of-use.  Intelligent operation.
Satellite InternetOur Internet Satellite solutions are easy to operate by pushing a single button to deploy or stow the system. This easy-to-operate interface supports a variety of trained and untrained personnel who may need to operate the MCCV Internet connectivity at an emergency scene. Additionally, our Internet satellite
solutions typically includes use of an internal Global Positioning System (GPS) receiver which allows the antenna to automatically aim itself to the desired satellite.

Airtime Plans.
National Interop has negotiated several Satellite Internet airtime plans appropriate for public safety agencies.
