With RoIP technology, public safety agencies—police, fire,
emergency medical, forestry —of any size can
connect people and devices using disparate and often
incompatible devices into a single, interoperable, and
highly manageable communications system. This includes
support for: Land Mobile Radio (LMR)
integration, Fixed Dispatch management, Mobile Command / Communication Vehicle (MCCV) dispatch, or Fixed or
mobile Emergency Operation Center (EOC) support.
RoIP Fixed Sytems -
Dispatch, EOC
Our
RoIP-based systems are an ideal solution for public safety
fixed-site system needs: it is backwards compatible with
older equipment already installed and forward compatible
with emerging technologies such as digital trunking. These
solutions can also be configured to offer patches between
users and different agencies similar to an ACU-1000, either
permanently or temporarily. And because it is based on an IP
architecture, it is inherently scalable. The same software
technology can therefore be deployed to support a statewide
system with thousands of users, or a regional system with
hundreds of users.
RoIP Mobile Systems
National
Interop’s mobile RoIP systems can be integrated into any
mobile vehicle including vans, trailers, buses and Humvee’s
to provide full-featured dispatch consoles for Incident
Dispatchers or regular 9-1-1 Dispatch when their fixed
dispatch system is disabled, destroyed, or simply
overwhelmed. Designed for first responders, these solutions
combine state-of-the art radio, phone, cellular, satellite,
RoIP software and Internet technology into a
quick-to-deploy, reliable, and easy-to-use system.
RoIP Transportable
Systems
Nearly
any RoIP technology or system we can install in a vehicle,
we can design into a water-proof flight case that can be
transported to nearly any location in the world. In the
event of a disaster or emergency relief effort, establishing
voice and data
communications is critical within the first couple of days.
National Interop’s transportable RoIP solutions provide
first responders to these sites with the equipment and
resources they need. Although each of our solutions are
customized for unique agency needs, each is designed for
remote field use and can run on DC power.

Affordability
In general, well-designed ROIP systems are
less expensive than traditional public
safety radio systems.
Each dispatch position is dramatically less
expensive; relatively large numbers of radio
channels can be accommodated; additional
users (with modest requirements compared to
dispatchers) are even less
expensive. And for large geographic areas,
ROIP is usually the only economically
feasible method of
interoperability.
