Our Philosophy We’re happiest when we are involved from the initial design, through system installation and customization, all the way to end-user training – but we’ll help you at any stage along the way. We are firmly opposed to proprietary hardware-centric solutions that have little or no flexibility. We believe public safety agencies and the public they serve deserve easy, affordable access to standards-based solutions that inherently evolve with changing technology. We do this by leveraging three dimensions of expertise: a long track record with LMR (Land Mobile Radio) and other RF communication technologies; pioneering work in VoIP software and LAN/WAN networks, and decades as public safety first responders. We sell radio equipment, computer systems, and customized software applications, but our primary role is to provide consulting, design, installation, training and written operating procedures for public safety communications systems. Our focus is providing pragmatic and reliable solutions, drawing on the "best of class" components from a wide variety of vendors. Although we will make recommendations for specific products from specific vendors, we will (and have) work with any manufacturer's equipment. Often the existing radio equipment can be adapted very effectively for use with Radio-over-IP.
